About Jax

Yellowwindbreaker is composed of photographer Jax Samsell. She came up with the name in high school when she thought wearing a yellow windbreaker would make her more memorable. There is no evidence that shows whether this worked or not. 

With a focus on concert photography, Jax brings an edge to her photographs by showing what goes on backstage as well as in performance. Her photos allow its viewers to be a fly on the wall, observing their favorite bands in a more intimate environment. 

 Since diving back into photography in 2023, Jax has shot numerous EP/Single covers for artists like sombr and Ultra Q.
